What I collect, and why.

Updated September 7, 2026.

Project inquiries

If you send an inquiry, I store your name, email address, topic, message, and the time you agreed to be contacted. I use that information to review your project and reply. I don’t add you to a mailing list.

I store inquiries in a private database hosted on Amazon Web Services. Email alerts and replies, when enabled, use Amazon Simple Email Service. Please leave passwords, account credentials, and sensitive personal information out of the form.

Basic site operation

The site uses a short-lived, signed form token and a hashed network address to limit repeat submissions. I discard rate-limit records older than about 24 hours as new inquiries arrive. Hosting infrastructure may process network addresses and request details to serve and protect the site.

I don’t use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. If you choose a color theme, your browser remembers it in local storage. Fonts are served from this website.

Keeping and deleting information

I keep inquiries while I’m reviewing a project or maintaining the related business correspondence. I can delete an inquiry on request unless I need to retain it for an ongoing engagement or a legal obligation. Backup copies may remain until their retention period ends.

Embedded posts

Past-project pages and the homepage include posts embedded from X. As those posts load, your browser connects to X, which handles those requests under its own privacy practices. The embeds request X's do-not-track setting. Each post also has a direct link to its original page.

External links

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Neotask, and other projects take you to sites with their own privacy practices.
