I’ve always liked
figuring things out.

It started with coral and reptiles.

At 12, I volunteered at a pet store because I wasn’t old enough to get a job. I wanted to learn the coral and reptile trade. Within a year, I was building snake-breeding racks and coral frag tanks with my dad.

From 13 to 16, I sold coral and snakes locally and online as DB Reptiles and DB Frags. A frag is a small piece of coral. That was my first experience making something, finding people who wanted it, and figuring out how to run the operation.

I learned to code because I had a use for it.

After my freshman year at the University of Iowa, I saw an opportunity in reselling. I took time away from school and taught myself to code. The software I built became DNA IO, Galaxsio, KDG, and the automation behind Rockford Financial.

I returned to Iowa and finished my BA in Analytics, with a Computer Science minor, in 2021. I ran the businesses while completing my degree.

The software was part of a real business.

At Rockford Financial, I built purchasing automation and an international operation with receiving partners in seven countries. Over seven years, we moved more than 50,000 units and generated over $6 million in revenue, excluding software licensing.

At Galaxsio, I led a five-person team and built two full versions of a purchasing automation platform. At KDG, I worked with engineers, moderators, and community operators to deliver timely information to paying members.

I built BetterSlip andWatchtower Protection. I also co-founded Intervieux with my brother. We are actively building it in partnership with Level Up Ventures, connecting AI interviews, career support, and hiring tools.

Now I’m building with agents.

My main focus is Neotask: an environment for AI agents, connected tools, and human direction. I’m interested in agent swarms, software factories, and the engineering required to make them useful.

I also work with Emphasis HR on applied AI. Across that work, I care about the same questions: what should we automate, how should people direct it, and how do we know the result is right?
