Making fragmented data useful
I built BetterSlip from scratch to make sports betting markets easier to compare. The platform scanned millions of odds each day across more than 140 sportsbooks, with data arriving at one-to-three-second latency.
The complete product
I built the collection pipelines, comparison tools, backend, web product, and full iOS application. The tools covered arbitrage, positive expected value, middles, low hold, and parlay shopping.
Maintaining the data meant adapting to changing source behavior and anti-bot protections. The product also connected analysis to sportsbook bet slips so users could act on what they found.
Engineering and operations
Alongside sole development, I led a team of four across marketing and influencer management. BetterSlip reached more than 3,000 users at its peak. These figures describe the project through January 2026.
